Tricia Petek

Tricia Petek is an Associate Attorney with MilVet Law Firm. Ms. Petek’s practice is focused on assisting service members and veterans with administrative issues before the military or the Veterans Administration.
As the spouse of a retired service member, Ms. Petek has dedicated her professional and personal pursuits to advocating for the military community. Prior to joining MilVet Law Firm, Ms. Petek was a partner with the Parlatore Law Group, where she gained experience representing veterans and military personnel. She is an active member of the Military Spouse JD Network (MSJDN), a bar association that aims not only to connect military spouse attorneys, but also to utilize the network to assist others. Through MSJDN, Ms. Petek volunteers as an intake coordinator with Justice for Military Families, helping to secure pro bono legal services for military families facing a variety of issues.
In addition to her work with MSJDN, Ms. Petek has been honored to serve on the boards of several organizations that serve military communities. Through these opportunities, Ms. Petek has gained a better understanding of how to be an empathetic and effective advocate for service members, veterans, and their families.
Due to her work with MSJDN and other community organizations, Ms. Petek was awarded the MSJDN Pro Bono Service Award in 2021 and named the 2018 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year for US Army Garrison Stuttgart.
Ms. Petek is excited to join the MilVet Law Firm team and looks forward to continuing the important work of advocating for veterans, military members, and their families.
