Our Mission
At the MilVet Law Firm, our team, stands ready to fight for our fellow veterans and service members.
Throughout his time in the military, our founder, attorney Paul Jennings had the honor of serving with some of the most well qualified and dedicated service members that our great nation could produce. Unfortunately, Mr. Jennings also saw how the military at times could fail these soldiers in the most drastic of ways. Soldiers with years of combat deployments suddenly faced separation, years shy of retirement, due to Qualitative Management Program Boards that found a single reprimand in their file. Other soldiers, suffering from PTSD and the stresses of combat, delayed seeking medical treatment due to fear of a Medical Evaluation Board, only to be reprimanded for misconduct directly related to their PTSD. Stories like these are occasionally seen on the news, and most civilians think that they are a rarity, but every service member knows at least one battle buddy who faced a similar crisis.
Adding to this turmoil is the current administrative minefield that a veteran faces after leaving the military and turning to the Veterans Administration. Over-worked employees, mismanaged files, and countless other deficiencies within the VA have made national headlines. Many veterans feel fortunate not to receive the compensation they deserve, but instead to receive anything at all from the VA.
Mr. Jennings does not believe that this is the way our nations brave service members and veterans should be treated. As a combat veteran Mr. Jennings knows the struggles that our service members and veterans face in a way that only a fellow combatant-in-arms can. You’ve sworn an oath to defend our nation, now let Mr. Jennings do the same for you.
